COMMUNITY COLLEGES
Geneva is located between two community colleges in Nebraska. One of which is Southeast Community College (SCC), a multi-campus institution with campuses at Milford, Beatrice and Lincoln. The other is Central Community College (CCC) with campuses in Hastings and Grand Island. These colleges also serve noncredit students in Continuing Education on the campuses and in communities throughout southeast Nebraska. The community colleges offer programs of study in Academic Education, Argriculture/Laboratory Science, Business, Construction, Electronic/Computer, Family & Consumer Science, Health, Manufacturing, Mass Media Communication, and Transportation.
Some SCC nursing classes are offered in Geneva. Southeast Community College also offers continuing educaton classes in communities throughout the area for personal improvement and/or college or professional credit.
SCC and CCC provide On-Stie Training customized to meet the specific training needs of the business. Grant writing assistance is provided to help offset the training cost for qualified employees.

Fillmore Central High School in Geneva offers welding classes that allows students to gain skills that will enable them to receive American Welding Society's qualifications AWS D1.1 GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) on steel and AWS D1.2 GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) on aluminum.
